Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Duties and Responsibilities Answer phone calls and respond to emails from external stakeholders to assist with compliance with the Title 20 Appliance Efficiency regulations, which regulate the sale of appliances in California. Help staff maintain the CEC's appliance efficiency database by collecting data, analyzing trends, and testing new features. Prepare technical responses to appliance-reputed company inquiries, including data inquiries, in consultation with appropriate technical staff. Assist technical staff with regulatory efforts by performing internet research and analyzing different appliance regulations (state and federal). Assist with reputed company and education efforts by helping prepare documents and webpage updates.
