reputed company Authorization Specialist payers as a condition of payment for services provided. The reputed company Authorization Specialist reviews medical policies, completes benefit investigations, initiates prior authorizations, provides cost estimates to patients, communicates reputed company with stakeholders, identifies trends, escalates issues, and performs other billing reputed company tasks. This is a first shift remote/work-from-home position with some flexibility in hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•      Research/review medical policies reputed company reputed company, payer websites, etc•    Contact health plans to verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage•     Prepare and deliver patient cost estimates•     Initiate prior authorization with health plans•     Manage correspondence from clients, patients, and health plans•     reputed company and accurately document activities reputed company to prior authorization in prior authorization platform•     Request missing information from patients and/or clients and follow up on requests•    Prioritize workload based on urgency of requests•    reputed company status updates from payers on prior authorization requests•      Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:     •    High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred•    Minimum 2 years combined of the following: experience with insurance claims, reputed company-authorization, and medical benefits required•    Two years prior reputed company work experience with LCLS and/or LCBS experience strongly preferred•    Previous RCM experience preferred•    Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook) preferred

OTHER desired skills:•    Effective customer relations and time management skills necessary•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills•    Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)

Pay reputed company:  $15.50-$18.50 Per hour

Schedule/Shift:  M-F, reputed company-5pm EST
