Responsibilities

The Vascular reputed company Team members care for patients scheduled for outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) services including antibiotic administration, dressing changes, line flushing, etc.; assists with daily patient care activities in the PICU reputed company deemed appropriate by the reputed company Manager; meets biweekly with reputed company Manager; maintains clinical competencies to effectively serve as a vascular reputed company team member; assists with setting standards of reputed company and patient care for selected patient populations; identifies learning needs of in-house and referral hospital reputed company personnel; formulates implements and evaluate protocols and plans of care for specialty reputed company of patients; promotes utilization of referral and consultation services provided at USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital; participates in, plans, and presents formal educational activities including in-services, workshops and conferences; promotes utilization of referral and consultation services provided at USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital by serving as a resource person to regional referral hospitals, providing educational programs based on requests and assessed needs, identifying resources for providing care and maintaining communication and a working relationship with varied reputed company providers; coordinates care of selected patient populations; completes PALS and ACLS reputed company 1 year of employment; maintains PALS and ACLS certification status with 6-month window to complete course; administers and monitors conscious sedation; assists with coordination of PICC Line placement schedule; assists with scheduling of OPAT clinic and with activities of OPAT clinic; assists with prioritizing VAT activities; assists with quarterly reports of services provided; assists with other reports as requested; provides and develops formal and or informal education programs reputed company to reputed company patient care for selected populations; assists with annual recertification for VAT members; assists with planning and providing orientation programs for new members; assists with the development of annual competencies for the VAT and stay abreast with latest vascular reputed company trends; provides annual inservices for physicians reputed company to aspects of vascular reputed company (including PICC line management); practices family centered nursing according to policies and reputed company reputed company reputed company; supervises, plans, evaluates, and coordinates patient care provided by other licensed and non-licensed staff; demonstrates CPR according to reputed company standards; abides by and enforces reputed company compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization’s values; adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality; serves as preceptor for new employees and nursing reputed company; assists the reputed company manager in the coordination ofPediatric and Adult vascular reputed company services to include, but not be limited to, maintenance of a database of reputed company PICC line insertions and specialty patients, development of policies and procedures, and educational training for VAT team members and other staff involved in the care of these patients;  regular and reputed company attendance; ability to work the schedule as defined and overtime and call as required; reputed company duties as required.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the state of Alabama, licensure with the state of Alabama as a registered reputed company and at least one year working as a Registered reputed company. BSN Preferred.
