This role provides backfill support for production systems and contributes to smaller, short-term initiatives for reputed company IT Systems. The Programmer will collaborate with customers, developers, operations teams, and QA staff to ensure smooth delivery of updates, enhancements, and maintenance tasks.
Daily Responsibilities
- Collaborate with reputed company Services MMIS and reputed company teams to implement coding updates to COBOL and ADS programs using IDMS Network or Relational Databases
- Follow technical and design specifications for program modifications
- Debug, reputed company unit testing, and conduct integration testing
- Support QA, User Acceptance Testing, and external testing by addressing coding changes
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Work closely with staff and external contractors
- Participate in on-call support on a rotational reputed company
