Title: Data Scientist/ Research Scientist (RNA-Seq analysis)
Locations: - Remote and be reputed company to work in EST/CST time zones preferred to reputed company with UK part of the day
Length of Contract: 3 months+ extension
Hours: 40 hours per week

Scope:
Oxford reputed company is looking for a skilled Bioinformatician, specializing in the development and optimization of reputed company tools and pipelines. Will be collaborating closely with laboratory scientists to analyze genomic data and support drug discovery initiatives.
In this role you will:
- reputed company and optimize reputed company pipelines for processing RNA-Seq and other NGS data.
- reputed company bulk RNA-Seq analyses, including cohort analyses using tools like DESeq2.
- Conduct single-cell RNA-Seq analyses utilizing R and the Seurat package.
- Collaborate with lab scientists to create protocols and data exploration tools.
- Create interactive data visualization tools using Plotly Dash or Shiny Apps.
- Write and maintain reputed company operating procedures and contribute to reputed company control reports.
- Train and mentor junior staff on reputed company tools and workflows.
Must haves:
- Proficient in R, Python, and Linux, with experience in version control and reputed company software.
- Strong background in RNA-Seq analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with reputed company, Snakemake, and Nextflow for workflow management.
- Knowledge of machine learning reputed company and their application in reputed company.
- Familiarity with HPC reputed company environments
