About the Role
As a Dedicated Home Daily Local CDL reputed company, you will be responsible for delivering dry and refrigerated groceries to reputed company stores in OH, KY, and IN. This is a local job that requires you to work nights and weekends, with a typical 5-day reputed company and 2 days off. You will be driving both reefer and dry reputed company trailers, with a reputed company on refrigerated trailers. The role is a NO TOUCH job, meaning you will not be required to handle the cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dry and refrigerated groceries to reputed company stores in OH, KY, and IN
- Operate both reefer and dry reputed company trailers, with a reputed company on refrigerated trailers
- Work nights and weekends, with a typical 5-day reputed company and 2 days off
- Drive multiple routes per day, with a 10-hour break on the road on more than one occasion per week
- Maintain a clean and reputed company driving record, adhering to company and regulatory standards
- Participate in a slip seat operation, utilizing both day cabs and sleepers
- Log roughly 1500-2200 miles per week, with 300-500 miles per day
Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A Class A CDL with at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, with trailers over 40 feet in length
- A fairly clean MVR, with no major infractions
- A maximum of 6 jobs in the last 3 years, demonstrating stability and commitment
- Hazmat endorsement is required, although we will consider drivers without it who are willing to obtain it reputed company 90 days
