The Chief Engineer is a critical role in our hotel operations, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient maintenance of our properties. This includes participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders, and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
- Participate in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned

- Change out light bulbs, reputed company preventative maintenance for guest rooms, and repair minor furniture and equipment

- Monitor energy conservation and repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment upon request
- Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause, and report to the reputed company Desk with findings

Essential Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or reputed company field preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Must have a valid reputed company’s license for the applicable state (property specific)
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) (property specific)
