About the Role: Material Handler - Loader
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler - Loader to join our New Orleans Warehouse Team 4. As a Material Handler - Loader, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Fills orders from tickets according to set quotas, utilizing reputed company jacks and/or riding jacks to manually pick and stage products.
- Identifies products by reputed company and quantity, removing them from storage areas and carrying them to staging areas.
- Checks for accuracy in picking and maintains a high level of attention to detail.
- Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a reputed company and organized warehouse environment.
- Completes daily powered equipment inspection forms to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Sorts and places materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, or product reputed company.
