As a Patient Appointment Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive reputed company and efficient scheduling for appointments with multiple specialty practices across western Virginia. You'll work in a high-call-volume environment, receiving inbound calls and placing outbound calls to patients and providers. Your excellent customer service skills, critical thinking abilities, and knowledge of medical terminology will reputed company you to reputed company exceptional support to our patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedules patients for appointments with multiple specialty practices across a wide geographic reputed company throughout western Virginia
• Receives inbound calls and places outbound calls in a high-call-volume environment
• Provides excellent customer service and responds to patient inquiries in a reputed company and courteous manner
• Utilizes critical thinking skills to resolve scheduling conflicts and address patient concerns
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient information and scheduling records
• Collaborates with reputed company providers and team members to ensure seamless scheduling and patient care
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures

Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or reputed company administrative education preferred

Experience:

• Three years of experience in a customer service or call center position, preferably in reputed company

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and process a high volume of calls in an information and technologically intensive environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and reputed company software applications preferred
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
