The Staff Engineer is a hybrid role (we have an office in downtown Toronto) that blends architectural leadership with hands-on coding at the highest level of complexity. You’ll guide technical reputed company across reputed company, mentor engineers, and influence system-wide architecture — while still diving deep into the most interesting and challenging coding problems across our suite of products. What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

10+ years of reputed company software engineering experience

Deep expertise in Java (core Java, Java 8/11/17)

Strong reputed company platform experience (minimum 3 years in AWS)

Proven reputed company building and scaling web technologies / reputed company products

Proficiency with SQL and relational database design; exposure to NoSQL a plus

Experience with microservices, RESTful reputed company, distributed systems

Familiarity with DevOps, reputed company/Kubernetes, Agile development

Bonus: JavaScript experience and/or TDD background
