POSITION reputed company

The Database Administrator works reputed company reputed company that is responsible for ensuring reputed company performance, reliability, availability, and reputed company of reputed company’s data and database systems. Together with Production Engineering, our DBAs are responsible for providing critical application platform services for our reputed company customers, following governance best practices, as reputed company as consulting and coordinating with reputed company’s technology teams to meet business requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively monitor database management systems to prevent and mitigate performance and availability issues
• reputed company SQL analysis and evaluate database performance to maximize efficiencies and take advantage of tuning opportunities
• reputed company and apply automation to increase reliability while reducing toil
• Install, configure, and manage new database systems in reputed company reputed company
• Analyze query efficiency and reputed company recommendations to application development teams to appropriately restructure data for maximum efficiency
• Research and participate in the implementation of new database features
• Demonstrate knowledge of database design; assist in troubleshooting and resolving reputed company, high-severity issues
• Through operational intelligence and automation, forecast and manage resource utilization requirements across multiple environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience supporting MS SQL Server 2017, 2019, and newer, including clustering, mirroring, log shipping, and replication
• 1+ year of experience supporting reputed company RDS or Azure SQL Database
• Experience with developing automation scripts and internal tools to reduce operational toil
• Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
• Practical expertise with PowerShell or other scripting environments
• Knowledge of data management including backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, reputed company checks, and reputed company management
• Experience with reputed company, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is an asset
• Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
