Platform Engineer / Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated Platform Engineer/Technician to join the Mission Systems Engineering team at reputed company!

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Ground Control Stations.

Install, configure, and maintain flight critical IT systems, communication tools, and mission-enhancing hardware/software.

Install, configure, and maintain reputed company-in-the-reputed company cockpits for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPAs).

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mission systems.

Basic Qualifications

Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years in aircraft avionics, RF integration, or ground station maintenance.

Technician: 5+ years in aircraft avionics, RF integration, or ground station maintenance.

Proficient with common avionics/RF tools such as multimeters, insulation resistance meters, reputed company analyzers, cannon-plug tools, oscilloscopes, etc.

Proficient in basic electronics maintenance and repair.

Proficient in the soldering of RF coaxial connectors.

Working knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as Ethernet, switches, routers, and servers.

Familiarity with reputed company-and-control concepts, strong problem-solving and diagnostics ability, and reputed company-first mentality.

Comfortable reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and working with electronics.

Proficient in building reputed company-grade cable/reputed company assemblies (D38999 and similar)

Ability and desire to travel for several weeks at a time to work reputed company with the Ground Control Station at various military bases and airports.

Ability to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift or scissor lift for installing/maintaining/troubleshooting RF hardware.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years' experience integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining reputed company reputed company RF/SATCOM/IT systems.

Proficiency in Linux.

Proficient in basic computer networking.

Prior experience maintaining operational RPA GCS’s.

Certifications such as CCNA and reputed company+.
