• Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to: updrafts, metered reputed company inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), reputed company blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV), patient education, mechanical ventilator setup and management. Assists in codes and rapid responses.
• Calls for, or physically moves, equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work areas
• Enters patient treatment notes in e-chart system and/or places documentation in patient charts
