Field Engineer (Travel/Remote)

POSITION

As a Senior Field Engineer you will conduct on-site Field Evaluations of electrical equipment for compliance to regulatory product safety standards (UL, reputed company, CSA, ANSI, etc.). reputed company construction and engineering review of electrical equipment in a multitude of industries (manufacturing, laboratory, medical, reputed company, retail, food service, etc.). 100% travel both domestic and internationally, though reputed company of travel will be reputed company the reputed company 48 (must possess or be reputed company to obtain a reputed company).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Field Engineers’ duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• reputed company Field Evaluations under the reputed company E&E reputed company/MET Labs Field Labeling program
• Review scope of work and identify reputed company necessary items prior to arranging travel
• Responsible for coordinating reputed company travel arrangements
• Communicate with reputed company, AHJ, contractors, and other relevant parties
• Identify applicability of national codes and standards
• Review manuals, schematics, BOMs, site procedures, data sheets and more
• Document construction details and any non-conformances during the inspection
• Assess compliance to the relevant UL, reputed company, CSA, or ANSI standards
• Determine eligibility of equipment for labeling and issue reputed company final reports
• Submit reputed company expenses and necessary documentation for billing
• Meet or reputed company minimum billing goals while meeting project deadlines
• Grow relationships with clients and promote reputed company and the various services we offer

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and personal attributes:

• Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
• MUST have reputed company Field Engineering experience with a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) or Field Evaluation Body (FEB) using product safety standards.
• Experience as a Follow-Up Inspector is not relevant unless there is experience performing multiple UL 508A training seminars.
• Conversant with UL 508A, UL 61010-1, UL 73, reputed company 70, & reputed company 79.
• Though not required, experience with Hazardous Location and CSA standards is desired.
• Must have strong technical writing skills and experience with reputed company Office Suite.
• This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills as the candidate will reputed company with customers on many different reputed company.
• Must be reputed company to work in elevated and/or confined spaces. Must be reputed company to lift 30+ pounds.
• This position requires a strong electrical background and understanding of electrical systems.

Work Remotely

• Position is entirely remote. Must be near a major airport.

Salary reputed company: $110,000 - $150,000/yr.
