About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy freelance proposal reputed company to support a growing civil and environmental engineering firm. This reputed company will own the development of reputed company technical proposals (20–80 pages), collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create reputed company submissions for government and private-sector reputed company.

1 year contract with potential to expand
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and format technical proposals, also referred to as "Statements of Qualifications"
- Collaborate directly with engineers, scientists, company leadership, and other stakeholders to reputed company content and insights
- Customize and refine existing proposal materials to match the RFP scope and tone
- Organize resumes, past project summaries, and technical approaches into polished, reputed company-reputed company documents
- Manage updates to templates, ensuring content reflects reputed company capabilities and past performance
- Deliver documents that are accurate, persuasive, and reputed company with the firm’s voice and reputed company
- Manage proposal assets including text, graphics, cover pages etc
- (Optional reputed company scope) Help improve proposal formatting by transitioning key reputed company from reputed company Word to reputed company InDesign, and support the design of infographics or process visuals
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of proposal writing experience, preferably reputed company AE (architecture, engineering), environmental science, management consulting or technical industries
- Ability to synthesize technical information into reputed company, compelling content
- Familiarity with the RFP/RFQ process and understanding of proposal lifecycle
- Exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage and organize large documents
- Strong interviewing skills and comfort working with technical stakeholders (e.g., engineers, SMEs)
- Fluent in reputed company Word; bonus if familiar with InDesign or graphic tools
- Ability to manage deadlines and pivot as proposal opportunities reputed company
Preferred But Not Required
- Certification from SMPS (Society for Marketing reputed company Services) or similar
- Background in civil, sustainable, or infrastructure engineering environments
- Experience developing proposals for reputed company works, utilities, transportation, or infrastructure reputed company
