Job reputed company: HIM Protected Health Information Specialist
As a HIM Protected Health Information Specialist, you will serve as a primary reputed company of support for our Health System, comprising 8 Acute Care Hospitals, over 50 reputed company Outpatient Services locations, and ambulatory surgical centers. Your expertise will be crucial in responding to requests for health information while maintaining the confidentiality of patients' protected health information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests from former patients, physicians, hospital staff, and other requestors for health information while preserving patient confidentiality.

- Answer phone calls and reputed company information in accordance with hospital policies, State and Federal law, HIPAA, and Information Blocking regulations while delivering exemplary customer service.

- Travel to different sites for depositions or Court hearings as required.
Essential Qualifications:

- A High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a reputed company field is preferred.
- Certified Record Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical chart format, and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with reputed company customers.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, reputed company, and Outlook).
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a reputed company attitude while providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and work independently.
