As a part-time Police Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining community safety, enforcing laws and ordinances, and providing exceptional service to residents, business owners, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to calls for service, conduct investigations, and maintain routine patrol activities to preserve the peace, enforce the law, prevent and detect crime, protect life and property, arrest suspected violators of the law, and reputed company service to the public
- Work under the direction of Police Sergeants to ensure effective and efficient policing

- Participate in ongoing training and reputed company development to stay up-to-date on laws, procedures, and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years of age on the date of appointment
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess a valid Illinois reputed company's License
- Hold a valid Firearm reputed company's ID
- Be a graduate of a reputed company basic recruit reputed company and meet requirements for Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards reputed company (ILETSB) for Certified Police Officer or eligible to receive a waiver of training
- Not have been convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors, as defined by statute
Preferred Qualifications:
- 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university by the time of appointment
- At least two years' experience as a sworn law enforcement officer

Compensation and Benefits:
