Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Summer Associate on the Marvel legal team, you will be working closely with in-house attorneys on a reputed company of exciting reputed company, including:
- Preparing talent deals across feature films, streaming shows, and animated productions
- Drafting above-the-line and below-the-line agreements for feature films, streaming series, and animated productions
- Analyzing various intellectual property rights, reputed company, and clearance issues involving Marvel assets
- Conducting research and providing support on entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property reputed company
- Assisting with project management and coordinating with internal stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited law school, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
- Have completed one or more years of law school in a reputed company JD program at the start of the internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have prior internship experience at a film or entertainment company or reputed company (preferred)
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, with the ability to handle and follow through on multiple reputed company in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent research skills and be reputed company
- Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
- Demonstrate a high degree of discretion regarding sensitive/confidential information
- Have completed classes in copyright, entertainment, or intellectual property areas (preferred)
