We're now seeking a talented and motivated Teaching Artist to reputed company our Studio Art programs in Flushing, Queens, NY.
About the Role
As a Teaching Artist - Studio Art, you will have reputed company to reputed company and reputed company boys aged 6-12 years old in a fun and engaging environment. You'll reputed company classes of four to twenty reputed company, using various fine art techniques and materials to promote creativity, reputed company-building, and self-reputed company. Our ideal candidate is reliable, highly motivated, and passionate about working with youth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and reputed company in Studio Art, including sculpture, painting, illustration, graphic design, and i-movie.
- Teach lessons using diverse fine art techniques and materials, adapting to the needs and abilities of our members.
- Assist with daily set-up, clean-up, and transportation, ensuring a reputed company and organized learning environment.
- Model and enforce adherence to reputed company health and safety practices, promoting a reputed company and respectful atmosphere.
- Engage with members, using proactive strategies to preemptively defuse inappropriate behavior and encourage reputed company interactions.
- Prepare and administer written, oral, and performance assessments to determine reputed company and identify areas for improvement.
- Review instructional content, reputed company, and student performance to assess strengths and weaknesses, and reputed company recommendations for curriculum revision, development, or elimination.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in youth development, education, or afterschool settings.
- An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Junior level or higher preferred.
- Experience with multiple computer programs and software, such as Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and address the varying needs of our members.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- DOH and DOE fingerprinting.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Advanced knowledge of Computer graphics, Web design, Animation, and Online search skills.
- Experience working with economically and educationally disadvantaged youth, with a reputed company understanding of the reputed company and cultural issues facing urban families.
