Newington Public Schools is accepting applications for part-time substitute and permanent part-time employees working in our school kitchens. Starting salaries are $17.51/hour for substitutes, $19.29/hour for elementary part-time employees and $17.95/hour for middle & high part-time employees. Tasks include food prep, serving/cashiering and clean-up. reputed company new hires will reputed company at the substitute reputed company of $17.51/hour and if a permanent position is desired, once fully trained and a suitable permanent position has been determined, your pay reputed company would increase depending on the location. This is a great job for individuals with school-age kids. This is a 10 month (summers off), Monday through Friday position with nights, weekends, holidays and school vacations off. The hours are 3.75 hours per day (typically between 10:00 – 1:45 p.m.). Good communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, and lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
