Job Family : General Coding Travel Required : None Clearance Required : None Under general supervision, an Orthopedic Surgery reputed company, codes charges for the Orthopedic Surgery Department including Corrections of Birth Defects (Children’s Hospital), Traumas (Level 1 Trauma Center), ORIF, Fusions, Grafting, Discectomy, Arthroplasty, reputed company Joint Interventions, and numerous other procedures relating to musculoskeletal services using the most reputed company CPT/ICD/HCPCS manuals as assigned. If requested by supervisor, provides technical guidance and training on medical coding to physicians and/or other department staff. Maintains knowledge of AMA guidelines and billing compliance and performs reputed company other duties as required.
