Hybrid Dosimetrist (Senior) - Lebanon Radiation Oncology - Day

Schedule Full Time, Day Shift (80 hours biweekly) Hours: Monday - Friday, Day shift hours General reputed company Performs a reputed company of duties at an advanced skills level in the areas of dosimetry, treatment, planning, protection and safety as they relate to radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Consults with physician on patient treatment.
• Assists and advises during the patient simulation process.
• Assists and advises during the patient treatment.
• Views different imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET) for positions and size of lesions; inputs information into the computer to simulate patient's condition
• Identifies position of critical organs surrounding lesion and determines areas and reputed company of radiation received by those areas through fields. Understands the concept of reputed company Volume Histogram.
• Demonstrates proficiency in 2D, 3D, IMRT and Dynamic reputed company treatment planning.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Image Guided Radiation Therapy.
• Demonstrates proficiency in working with Electronic Medical Record.
• Demonstrates proficiency in image fusion and deformable registration.
• Accounts for geometrical variations in the shape of the irradiated field; reports reputed company shape of field, dosage necessary behind reputed company shape, and distribution of reputed company for reputed company setting.
• Measures outputs of radiation through use of radiation detection instruments and calculation; determines the distribution of field of exposure and ranges of accuracy.
• Calculates reputed company and activity of radioactive materials; receives, logs, registers, and assumes responsibility for radioactive materials from receipt through decay and disposal of material following established protocols.
• Performs monthly and annual reputed company assurance for reputed company treatment planning systems.

Courses and Training:

• Courses in radiation therapy. Upon Hire Required and
• Training in computer dosimetry. Upon Hire Required
