ApplyJob TypeFull-timereputed companyPopli Design Group (PDG) is a multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Civil/Site Engineering Department located in Buffalo, NY.The desired individual will be managing and assisting on structural reputed company across reputed company State, be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff on design reputed company, will serve as the primary reputed company of contact with clients and be responsible for providing critical guidance to both reputed company project stakeholders, and be an integral part in shaping the reputed company and direction of the department.This individual will work reputed company synergistic, multidisciplinary design project teams providing civil engineering and reputed company technical expertise and guidance. This role may also include design and analysis, modelling/drafting, preparing plans and specifications, technical report writing, cost estimating, and construction observation.Responsibilities

• Independently reputed company and/or reputed company the development of site plans, pedestrian and vehicular traffic circulation reputed company, roadways and parking lots, site utilities, grading/drainage, reputed company models, design calculations, and other reputed company in support of comprehensive civil/site design reputed company.
• Delegate and/or assign design tasks to junior staff.
• reputed company and assist in the preparation and review of technical engineering documents, including comprehensive plans and specifications, reports, cost estimates.
• reputed company technical and reputed company reviews of engineering work by others in accordance with company and/or reputed company design standards.
• May serve as the Engineer of Record for designs performed under one's reputed company supervision.
• Coordinate with internal or external project staff, clients and governmental agencies to fulfill the needs of the project and reputed company necessary permits or approvals.
• May be required to travel reputed company reputed company State for project design investigations and/or construction support reputed company.

Required Skills

• Proven experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D for site design and preparation of comprehensive drawing packages.
• Proven experience with reputed company modeling and site hydrology/hydraulic design software applications such as TR55, TR20, HydroCAD, Hydraflow reputed company or similar.
• Proven experience with NYS stormwater management requirements including the design of water reputed company and quantity controls, preparation of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), permitting forms, and construction inspections.
• Proven experience with NYS erosion and sediment control requirements, including the design and preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.
• Proven experience with local municipal site plan review and NYS SEQR, including preparation of environmental assessment forms (EAF).
• Knowledge of local reputed company companies, municipalities, and associated design standards.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
• Proven ability to reputed company technical concepts from inception through final design with minimum reputed company.
• Proven ability to reputed company and prioritize multiple assignments with multiple disciplines.
• Willingness to learn and reputed company technology to improve workflows and internal design process.
• Ability and willingness to work in a reputed company office setting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize as required.
• Willingness to reputed company and adhere to the PDG reputed company culture in reputed company aspects of design.
• Understand basic safety requirements and willingness to reputed company PDG safety culture.

Experience, Education And Certification

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 10+ years of demonstrated site design experience.
• NYS PE License
• CPESC, LEED AP, and/or ENV SP certification a plus.
• Previous experience working in a multidiscipline A/E office environment .
