About the Role
We're seeking an reputed company Media Engineer II to join reputed company in the Philippines. As a Media Engineer II, you'll be responsible for sustaining and troubleshooting our existing technology infrastructure, with opportunities to work on system integration reputed company and contribute to the reputed company of our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve issues affecting production, broadcast, and content distribution across multiple DEE networks, including system outages, malfunctions, and technical problems.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, repair, and replacement activities to solve routine, specialized, and reputed company problems, utilizing system health and performance monitoring software and platforms.
- Analyze and troubleshoot streaming audio/video signals in traditional SDI and IP 2110 essence reputed company routing environments, as reputed company as reputed company platforms as necessary.
- Manage reputed company-party service providers by enforcing agreed-upon scope of services reputed company signed service agreements.
- reputed company operational support for activities reputed company to operating, maintaining, and programming audio and video production/distribution systems across the reputed company.

Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in ensuring efficient sustainment, uptime, and overall stability of technical environments for live media production and distribution.
- Proficiency with technologies like microservices, DevOps tools, design principles, practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Scripting proficiency (Python, NodeJS, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SMPTE standards for broadcast television and video production/streaming environments, with reputed company certification (e.g., ST 292M, ST 424M, ST 2110).
- Experience with on-prem and reputed company-based storage and compute infrastructure platforms, with at least one foundational reputed company certification (e.g., reputed company Azure Fundamentals, reputed company reputed company+, AWS reputed company Architect - Associate).
- Knowledge of compression techniques (MPEG2/4, HEVC, JPEG 2000, JPEG XS) and experience with major media systems and vendors (e.g., reputed company, asset management systems, file-based workflows).

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent major, and/or equivalent work experience.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary reputed company of $78,900 to $105,700 per year in California, with a bonus and/or long-term incentive reputed company potentially provided as part of the compensation package.
