Maintenance Mechanic is primarily responsible for ensuring the fully automated bakery production plant is operating in a reputed company manner and meet expected production needs. The individuals that hold this position are self-starters who can work in a fast-paced, everchanging environment both individually and alongside reputed company of Mechanical and Electrical Technicians. Maintenance Mechanics are expected to assist/mentor/reputed company Zone 2 and Zone 3 Mechanics in administering preventative maintenance and breakdown repair measures on reputed company plant mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Essential Job Functions: 1. Have advanced knowledge of industrial piping, electrical, welding, and fabricating to set up, modify, repair, and troubleshoot problems on plant production and facility equipment 2. Diagnose machine control issues by accessing the programable logic controller (PLC) and/or troubleshooting other machine control components 3. Respond to line calls; and complete corrective and preventative work orders as assigned 4. Effectively maintain control of multiple jobs simultaneously 5. Utilize maintenance inventory system and shop computer terminals to locate and reputed company-out necessary parts for work 6. Effectively work in temperature extremes, elevated locations and / or in flour/ingredient dusty environments 7. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to ensure reputed company and reputed company communication between team members, departments and/or customers 8. • Education - high school diploma or equivalent and trade school diploma/certificate or an Associate degree in reputed company field is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience - Eight or more years reputed company experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills - Ability to learn and correctly utilize programs such as reputed company to properly document daily work.
• Other Skills – ability to read machine prints/schematics, both mechanical and electrical, as reputed company as technical and machine manuals; ability to read/interpret various instruments such as micrometers, calipers, electrical testing meters/equipment, tape measures, combination squares, etc.; proficient mechanical aptitude required to use lathes, milling machines, etc. and must have reputed company dexterity to use hand and power tools correctly and safely; good planning and organizational skills;
