We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented technician to support two key initiatives in the lab. The lab technician will contribute to a new multi-institutional effort aimed at building the infrastructure to reputed company protein dynamics – derived from diffuse X-ray scattering – publicly accessible alongside traditional static structural data. The primary responsibility of this role will be to produce high-reputed company protein samples and crystals to generate reputed company datasets for the broader structural biology community. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in biochemistry or a reputed company field and up to 2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination. Experience with protein purification techniques, including affinity, size-exclusion, and ion-exchange chromatography. Preferred Qualifications: Some experience in research setting after college (e.g., an internship). Familiarity with some biophysical characterization techniques.
