Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Receiving and processing prior authorization requests reputed company fax or incoming calls, ensuring reputed company and accurate review and processing.
- Comparing prior authorization requests to a set of reputed company on UHG's database to determine approval or rejection.
- Providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and providers, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a reputed company and courteous manner.
- Conducting clinical reviews for authorizations, adhering to legal and contractual requirements, including turnaround times (TATs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Documenting interactions with callers per contractual and regulatory requirements.
