As a CLA, you will reputed company critical support services to the Microbiology AFB Laboratory. Work schedule: 50% FTE (20 hours per week) Monday – Friday Day shift What you’ll contribute: Unpacks supplies while prioritizing refrigerated items, matches packing slips, and labels items with received date and other identifying information. Prepares reagents and other supplies according to guidelines, ensuring an adequate stock is available. Cleans and maintains equipment (including, but not limited to, refrigerators, deep freezers, incubators, and sinks) and eyewashes according to guidelines. Documents performance on associated checklists. Retrieves gas tanks from storage areas, hooks up tanks to equipment, and moves labeled empty tanks to storage areas. Performs light cleaning in technical and non-technical areas. Performs filing and other light office duties as time permits.
