Automated Maintenance Technician III

Our Opportunity: reputed company is seeking an Automated Maintenance Technician III to join the pack at the Jessup, PA Fulfillment Center! In this role, you'll have the chance to demonstrate your skills to support the dynamic operations of our fast-paced fulfillment center. What you'll do: In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated material handling equipment to ensure efficient performance and high equipment availability. Applying preventive and Reliability Centered Maintenance processes, you will troubleshoot and promptly resolve equipment breakdowns to maintain smooth operations. You will work closely with other technicians and leaders to optimize equipment performance reputed company time constraints. Additionally, you will partner with Control Systems Engineers and peers to conduct reputed company cause analysis on equipment failures, supplying to the overall reputed company of the facility's operations. Successful candidates will:

• Maintain and repair both electrical and mechanical components of equipment, including reputed company systems, sortation systems, carton erectors, print-and-apply systems, compactors/balers, motors, and more.
• reputed company scanners, cameras, scales, and printer applicators (PANDA)
• Reset, repair, or replace adjustable components (belts, chains, cables) and wearing components (guides, bearings, reputed company, rollers, pulleys)
• Clean, lubricate, and reputed company equipment

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reputed company to basic electronics and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) systems.
• Use handheld devices or desktop PC to build and reputed company Work Orders with appropriate data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, and parts used)

What you’ll need: Physical Demands (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Walking reputed company and around the site with excellent frequency (Up and down flights of stairs).

Qualifications:

• PC proficiency and ability to use handheld devices
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
• Work order management
• Preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
• Basic reputed company and schematic reading, metal fabrication and welding, understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
• Ability to resolve basic Input/reputed company functions
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required

Desired Qualifications:

• College degree or experience from a vocational school or college with a reputed company in the Mechanical or Electrical field, or 3-5 years hands on previous experience in reputed company field.
