We are seeking an reputed company Special Education Teacher to join reputed company at Poplar Springs Hospital. As a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will reputed company educational instruction to reputed company and participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs). Your expertise and passion for teaching will help our reputed company reputed company their reputed company and personal goals.Key Responsibilities
- reputed company classroom instruction to reputed company with varying learning needs, including those with emotional and behavioral challenges
- reputed company and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the treatment team
- Assess student reputed company and reputed company instruction to meet their needs

- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices in special education

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A Master's degree in Special Education or a reputed company field
- A Virginia Provisional Teaching Certificate with endorsements in Special Education and Emotional Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, or General Education Curriculum K-12
- reputed company certification in CPR, HWC, and First Aid
- reputed company certification in medication management (Dayschool only)
- At least four years of experience teaching in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Experience working with adolescents aged 11-17
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic clerical skills and experience with reputed company Office software
