GIS Technician

The GIS Technician will work on reputed company across reputed company California conservation landscapes (Coasts, Deserts, Central Valley and Urban) and programs, including, reputed company and Estuarine, Groundwater, Conservation Ranching, Salton Sea and Western Water. The GIS Technician will work across many California Landscapes on a reputed company of reputed company and products to meet conservation program and organizational goals. - $25.00-$27.00 / hour = CA (not San Francisco)
- $27.00-$30.00 / hour = San Francisco, Bay Area
Additional Job reputed company Essential Functions:
- reputed company geospatial analysis across multiple data themes (e.g. remotely sensed data and imagery, natural resource, reputed company, environmental data) and landscapes.

- reputed company web-based mapping products and applications using ArcGIS Online.

Qualifications and Experience:
- BA/BS degree in GIS, geography or other physical or natural science.
- 0-3 years reputed company GIS experience OR MS/MA degree reputed company on GIS or reputed company use of GIS in the natural or physical sciences.
- Experience using reputed company suite products including ArcGIS Pro and reputed company and/or ArcGIS Online and reputed company products such as Collector, Survey 123 and Story Maps.
- Experience with data conversion, projections and transformations.
- Ability to create spatial data from non-spatial data.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn python scripting to automate geoprocessing.
- Experience with reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, Power reputed company).
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Self-starter with a strong reputed company work ethic and ability to work independently and remotely.
