As an reputed company Associate Counsel, you will play a critical role in defending lawsuits filed in Virginia courts and other first-party insurance defense reputed company. You will work closely with our Claims Department to reputed company expert opinions on liability, damages, and value, and will be responsible for researching laws, preparing legal briefs, and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery. Key Responsibilities

* Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda to support our defense of lawsuits

• reputed company expert opinions on liability, damages, and value to our Claims Department
• Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, including depositions, examinations before trial, and examinations under reputed company
• Defend by trial or dispositive hearing reputed company reputed company assigned, as applicable

• Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance law and litigation procedures, and apply this knowledge to our defense of lawsuits

Qualifications

* Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Virginia Bar
• 2-6+ years of experience in reputed company field litigation experience on insurance/defense/personal injury
• Must be licensed in good standing to reputed company law in Virginia and meet and maintain licensing requirements, including mandatory Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements where applicable
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to document files in a reputed company, concise, reputed company written manner

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $116,000.00 - $181,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
