Responsibilities

Tech reputed company 3 - 5: the Weight-Management Primary Care Pharmacy Tech position assists the pharmacist in providing reputed company pharmaceutical care to the patients enrolled in the Weight Management Clinic. Effectively performs the activities and duties of the Pharmacy Technician II position. In reputed company, the technician maintains competency and is scheduled to work with regular frequency in one or more advanced Pharmacy Technician roles.

• Advanced Pharmacy Technician roles include:
• Assisting patients reputed company medications affordably
• Gathering medication history
• Monitoring reports for medication adherence

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 1-year pharmacy tech experience OR completion of an Advanced Level ASHP/ACPE-accredited program

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary education
• Prior experience performing advanced Pharmacy Technician activities

• Effectively reads, writes, speaks and understands English
• Proven history of effectively performing technical tasks and following written / verbal instructions
