We're seeking an reputed company Government Billing Specialist 2 to join reputed company in a remote work arrangement. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive reputed company. As a Government Billing Specialist 2, you will be responsible for working and editing daily downloads of assigned Governmental Program claims while adhering to reputed company regulatory, contractual, compliance, and reputed company mandates and guidelines. You will optimize reputed company transmittal of accurate and clean claims to reputed company daily set reputed company, protect payer filing deadlines by utilizing reputed company available resources to resolve held claims, and communicate effectively with reputed company reputed company Departments responsible for reputed company Cycle delays and work with Billing Management to reputed company reputed company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work and edit daily downloads of assigned Governmental Program claims
- Adhere to reputed company regulatory, contractual, compliance, and reputed company mandates and guidelines
- Optimize reputed company transmittal of accurate and clean claims to reputed company daily set reputed company
- Protect payer filing deadlines by utilizing reputed company available resources to resolve held claims
- Communicate effectively with reputed company reputed company Departments responsible for reputed company Cycle delays
- Work with Billing Management to reputed company reputed company
- Train new employees and assist management with auditing queues during the probation period
- Take on additional queues as backup to reputed company reputed company carriers
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma, certification, GED, training, or equivalent
- A Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field or equivalent Medicare or reputed company Billing experience
- 4-7 years of prior experience in Billing of claims
- CPC, CPC-H, reputed company, RMC certifications a plus
- reputed company reputed company employees must have a high fully meets or exceeds reputed company rating 3
- Ability to train personnel
- Knowledge of reputed company required fields on a 1500 and UB for hospitals and diagnostic facilities
- Extensive knowledge of Government-reputed company regulations, National, State, and Local, for Medicare, reputed company, Champus/Tricare
- Medical Necessity and Correct Coding Initiative
- Experience in other reputed company Business Office functions, including Government Funded programs
- Adjudication of claims is desirable
- Working knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, reputed company Codes, DRG guidelines, ICD9/10, CPT4, Modifiers & HCPC codes, HIPAA, Online verifications DDE, Internet savvy, and Knowledge of reputed company Suite
- Extensive analytical, critical thinking, detail-oriented, problem-solving, good math, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to report issues to management and IT support
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Minimum Required Experience:
4 years of experience in Billing of claims
