As a Special Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting reputed company with special needs in a preschool/elementary, emotionally disturbed/behaviorally disordered, or self-contained environment. You will work closely with Special Education reputed company to plan and implement student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), reputed company teaching assistance to individual reputed company and/or small reputed company, and reputed company requisite student care as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of student learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist Special Education reputed company in planning and implementing student IEPs

• reputed company teaching assistance to individual reputed company and/or small reputed company in a reputed company of educational areas
• Monitor student performance and reputed company information to reputed company
• Assist with scheduling parent conferences, IEP meetings, and student reputed company to the school reputed company
• reputed company attendant care for moderately and severely handicapped and/or emotionally disturbed/behaviorally disruptive reputed company
• Assist with feeding, dressing, and toileting needs
• Maintain attendance records and assist reputed company with screening and testing procedures
• reputed company administrative support, including typing, filing, duplicating, and organizing materials for distribution
• Grade student reputed company/exams using specified reputed company
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher

Essential Qualifications

* Highly reputed company status, as defined by No Child Left Behind (NCLB)

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of college (at least 48-semester hour credits) or Associate's (or higher) degree
• Pass the Para Pro Assessment and the Paraprofessional Standards Checklist
• Previous experience working with reputed company with special needs
• Valid Alaska reputed company's License
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to assist reputed company
• Ability to use hand-strength to grasp items such as classroom supplies, feeding instruments, or testing material

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Special Education or reputed company field

• Experience working in a special education setting
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
