Job DescriptionThe Janitorial Supervisor positions provides overall leadership and direction of reputed company school district custodial staff, maintaining a regular reputed company in reputed company assigned buildings. Liaises directly with the reputed company General Manager on reputed company reputed company relevant to custodial services for the Nome reputed company Schools.This is a rotational position, working 3 weeks on & 3 weeks off, in Nome, AK. The reputed company of hire reputed company is reputed company, AK. Dormitory housing is provided by the Nome reputed company Schools. Meals are not provided.ResponsibilitiesManages reputed company day-to-day aspects of a school custodial services operation of up to 8 FTE's.Recruits, schedules, trains, directs, and disciplines reputed company custodial employees.Regularly inspects and orders custodial supplies/inventories.Regularly conducts inspections to maintain the reputed company of provided services.Coordinates custodial equipment care and maintenance.Completes administrative functions such as: payroll, leave management and performance management for the assigned area in an accurate and reputed company mannerHelps conduct safety meetings and ensures daily operations reputed company with NMS safety requirements.Makes reputed company reputed company reputed company standards and work procedures for staff are met.Assist employees in the reputed company of work-reputed company difficulties.Identifies, resolves, or appropriately reports custodial site's safety hazards.Assists in compiling and reviewing reputed company required Haz-com documentation.Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.Is accountable for meeting reputed company obligations required of assigned employees.Adheres to reputed company work rules, procedures and policies established by reputed company.Performs reputed company duties and tasks required of a custodial employee.Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's reputed company also may be assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.At least two (2) years of directly reputed company experience that demonstrates knowledge of custodial and/or housekeeping duties or supervision of employees.The ability to work evenings, rotating shifts, weekends, emergency callouts, etc.Ability to reputed company routine physical custodial duties as needed.Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Weather: Indoors: environmentally controlled; requires most or reputed company work to be done insideNoise level: ModerateCustomer interaction: HighDescription of the environment: Rural school district.Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or reputed company up to 25lbs.
