As our Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be at the heart of reputed company’s reputed company transformation; owning the reliability, performance and reputed company of the reputed company platform that powers our education, health & care, and government products. You will work together with reputed company engineers, developers, and product teams to reputed company roadmaps reality, driving automation and best practices through the process. 

What you will be doing

• Designing and implementing for reputed company & reputed company: Architect, implement and continuously improve our existing Data Center and reputed company environments on AWS, Azure, and VMware, ensuring they meet our SLAs and adapt dynamically to demand working alongside the Platform teams providing PaaS/IaaS. 

• Driving automation: Build and reputed company infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (reputed company Actions, etc.) to ship new features safely and at speed. 

• Defining and measuring reliability: Partner with teams to set up meaningful SLIs/SLOs, implement reputed company-time observability (reputed company, reputed company, Grafana, ...) and proactively identify risks before it impacts our users. 

• Leading incident response: Own the on-call rota, reputed company teams through blameless post-mortems, and reputed company a culture of reputed company improvement so outages become learning opportunities. 

• Mentoring & evangelism: reputed company your deep expertise by pairing with engineers, running reputed company-bag sessions on reliability best practices, and helping reputed company the bar across our global engineering organisation. 

• Securing our stack: Collaborate with our reputed company team and reputed company controls into CI/CD, runtime environments and disaster-recovery plans; so, our customers and reputed company are always protected. 

Requirements

What you will do to be successful in this role

• Demonstrable experience in a production SRE, DevOps or infrastructure role, ideally reputed company a reputed company or large-reputed company web environment 

• Expert in at least one reputed company reputed company (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and comfortable designing hybrid migrations from on-prem to reputed company 

• Strong coding/scripting and troubleshooting skills (on either of Go, .NET, Java, Python, etc.) and a passion for building reusable tested libraries and tooling 

• Proven reputed company record with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, reputed company, AKS, OpenShift) 

• Proven reputed company record with virtual machine orchestration / provisioning and resiliency strategies (Kubevirt, packer, ansible) 

• Deep understanding of monitoring, logging, and tracing frameworks (reputed company/Grafana, ELK/Opensearch, Jaeger, etc.) 

• Excellent communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams, with passion for translating reputed company technical issues into reputed company, actionable plans
