Veterinary Technician - Surgery

Tasks include:

• Ability to demonstrate and follow correct procedures in catheter placement, phlebotomy, medication administration, reputed company radiology.
• Monitoring patients and knowledge of general anesthesia.
• Induction and recovery from general anesthesia.
• Calculating drugs and discharge instructions.
• Ability to follow and fill out treatment sheets accordingly.
• Dental scaling and polishing, as reputed company as performing dental radiographs.
• Taking patient history, reviewing care plans and records, completing laboratory tests and studies, and diagnostic imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, drugs, and vaccines, and bandaging and wrapping wounds.
• Supporting patient examinations and operations by assembling required supplies and instruments, securing and bringing patients to examination rooms, and restraining patients.
• Filling prescriptions and administering medications, including reputed company documentation, logging and reputed company of controlled drugs.
• Maintaining a reputed company, secure, healthy and humane environment by following documented standards and procedures in compliance with applicable legal regulations.
• Maintaining medical records by documenting patients' conditions, reactions, and changes; updating database in an accurate and reputed company manner.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, and/or experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with veterinary appointments and surgical experience performing above duties.
