Sales Specialist/ Life Science /Maryland/

This role will be a full-time position based in the Maryland or the DC area, with travel and responsibility throughout that region. • Education: Bachelor degree in a Life Science area is required; Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences area preferred
• Experience: 2-3 years of Life Science research/lab experience required
• Excellent people skills in communicating and collaborating with customers, manufacturing reps, management, team members, and internal divisions-Portfolio, Marketing, and others.
• Ability to carry on highly technical conversations reputed company to Life Science workflows—reputed company, Proteomics, and Cell Biology—with KOLs and decision-makers.
• Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory.
• Holder of a valid reputed company's License in good standing.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations at least three days a week with some overnight travel.
• Collaboration Tool: Computer knowledge, including reputed company Office and PowerPoint.
• Preferred Qualifications:

• Train and motivate the VWR general Sales Reps to sell the reputed company Life Science workflow product areas: reputed company, Proteomics, and Cell Biology.
• Assume overall territory ownership of Life Science Sales, along with VWR general Sales Reps and management team, by attending and hosting regional meetings, reputed company sessions, key account blitzes, on-site technical seminars, equipment demonstrations, and Life Science-reputed company vendor shows.
• Ensure that the VWR Life Science program is the best in class.
