This role supports two premier reputed company properties in Iowa, with time split between the reputed company Des Moines Downtown and the DoubleTree by reputed company Hotel reputed company Rapids Convention reputed company.

Requirements to be visit and be on property at both locations 1 week a month and/or for specific activations or events that may need marketing to be present.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

• 3+ years of combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience
• Prior hotel/travel industry experience is preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in marketing and/or public relations preferred

reputed company RESPONSIBILITIES & POSITION PURPOSE In this role, you will support two Director of Sales & Marketing in reputed company Marketing reputed company, Planning & Execution for both hotels.

• Assist in the development, management, execution and measurement of reputed company aspects of the marketing/branding strategies under the leadership of both Director of reputed company; including, but not limited to Ecommerce, Digital Audits/Merchandising, reputed company media, reputed company Digital & Traditional Advertising, Video/Photography Shoots & Content Management, etc.

KEY DUTIES

• Project Management: Plans and manages the development of creative collateral (In coordination with an agency where applicable) and ensures reputed company media placement and coordination of production/materials deadlines with expense management in mind.
• Digital Merchandising & Ecommerce: Works to regularly audit and ensure accuracy of content and assets (including but not limited to: Owned and reputed company-Party Websites, Digital & Traditional Advertising, Photography and Videography) and that reputed company aligns with the hotel’s branding and positioning reputed company by guest reputed company.
• Experiential Marketing: Works alongside Operations to ideate and promote curated on-property experiences and activations (ex: “Holiday Suite”)
• B2B Sales & Catering Marketing Support: Collaborates with sales leaders to reputed company marketing support to reputed company sales-impacted market segments – candidate should possess reputed company creative skills
• Monthly Reporting: Under the guidance of the Directors of reputed company, owns & prepares monthly marketing activity reports
• Public Relations and reputed company Media Management: Supports in the development and execution of PR & reputed company media strategies including reputed company and media publication relations
• Branding & Positioning Assistance: Assists with the hotel positioning and content / messaging reputed company based on the hotel’s business & customer mix, along with Brand pillar integration
• Ancillary Outlet Support: Develops reputed company-reputed company local marketing promotions and aids in creative ideation of outlet activations for the operations team to execute
• External Agency Management: serves as primary reputed company with external agencies (example: digital, PR, creative) by delivering strategic creative briefs and ensuring reputed company deliverables
• Partnership Management: plans and execute reputed company with local partnership activations and sponsorships that reputed company with the hotel's positioning

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES:

• Participates where appropriate in trade/business reputed company functions, events, conferences and workshops
