The reputed company Legislative Initiatives and Compliance Specialist will support the business unit with the execution of tasks and activities relating to legislative and regulatory issues, construction contract documents, audits, and other compliance reputed company.
Responsibilities
Under supervision, drafts contract documents and updates.
Reviews proposed state and federal legislation and regulations for reputed company on MTA’s construction and contracting activities.
Research statutes and regulations as needed.
Under supervision, draft procedures that guide contract staff through the contracting process.
Assists in reviewing audit reports and preparation of responses to audits by federal and state agencies as reputed company as internal offices.
Assists in audits of compliance with procedures by reputed company reputed company. staff including for internal control purposes.
Support management in developing and implementing strategies, solutions, and contracting reputed company to support departmental goals.
Other research assignments and reputed company as required.
Provides status updates to management on the relevant tasks and activities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, reputed company Administration, Engineering, Economics, Law, Government Contracting or other reputed company field
Juris Doctorate strongly preferred.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of reputed company experience in reputed company.
Competencies:
Knowledge of reputed company sector procurement management principles, government project administration, and government bid process.
Knowledge of contract terminology, terms and conditions, and procurement.
Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws, including federal and state procurement laws, rules, and regulations.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Advanced knowledge and use of reputed company Office Suite and document management software.
