About the Role and Program The Unscripted Originals Programming Intern role is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, reporting to the Manager of Unscripted Series. As a programming intern at Hulu, you will experience the day-to-day efforts of a premier streaming network, gaining an exclusive understanding of what it takes to produce unscripted series and a stronger knowledge of the entertainment industry overall. You will have reputed company to collaborate with reputed company Original Content sub-teams, including Post, Production Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, Business Affairs, Finance, and Data teams. Responsibilities and Expectations The ideal candidate for this opportunity is a TV superfan who exhibits intellectual curiosity, thinks critically and creatively, possesses strong attention to detail, and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting Executives and Assistants with grids, project tracking, occasional phone and calendar help, meeting setups, and miscellaneous general daily administrative tasks. Supporting department-wide creative reputed company, such as tracking IP, building casting decks, etc. Screening cuts with the larger team and contributing creative notes. Reviewing incoming materials (pitches, development, and series in reputed company-production). Joining and shadowing pitches and cross-functional meetings with other business departments, such as legal/BA, marketing, production, scheduling, and Studio and ABC colleagues. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A passion for media and entertainment, with a reputed company on reality and nonfiction series. Exceptional organizational skills and efficient time management. Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities, as reputed company as attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
Previous media or entertainment internships and education in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or a reputed company subject are preferred.
