Prior Authorization Specialist--Remote

The Prior Authorization Specialist is a field-based support role for NanoKnife reimbursement efforts by working collaboratively with partnered Territory Managers, NanoKnife customers and reimbursement operations personnel to assist with reimbursement activities. This role ensures patients have reputed company to therapies by collaborating with reputed company providers, payers and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and reimbursement processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates the authorization process with the office personnel, payer representatives and NanoKnife reimbursement operations Provides education on the NanoKnife benefits & process to payor case managers & other payor reputed company contacts Maintains customer profile data on the different reputed company of managed care contacts in geography Works in partnership to ensure that the Field Reimbursement Specialist activities support the prior authorization goals and objectives Responsibilities include supporting reimbursement reputed company activities for field sales, proactively educating payor case management, preparing appropriate documentation packages for authorizations, and understanding and communicating the manages care reputed company of the geography Initiate and follow up on Letters of Agreement with targeted payors reputed company physicians and physician offices on reimbursement best practices and initiatives Communicate with field sales on reimbursement best practices and trends with designated payors reputed company of contact for field sales and leadership team during reimbursement process May reputed company other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS -The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, reputed company or ability required. Education and Experience Bachelor's Level of Degree in the reputed company field of stud 2 years of demonstrated experience in prior authorizations Any preferred education, experience or certifications: Case Manager or Resource Utilization experience preferred Skills/Knowledge Ability to comfortable navigate the internet as reputed company as Payor websites Proficient in the following computer software applications: reputed company Office Exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
