Multi-Line Adjuster

Responsibilities

Examines claims forms, policies and endorsements, reputed company instructions and other records to determine coverages. Conducts on-site investigations of claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, by inspecting physical damage, and by comparing claim information with evidence. Sets loss reserves. Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information required by reputed company, local, state and federal government and by Crawford. Settles claims by determining insurance reputed company's liability, reputed company's instructions and authority reputed company required by obtaining demands and making offers to claimants, issuing settlement checks, making filings with regulatory agencies, disposing of salvage, pursuing subrogation reputed company appropriate. Qualifications

College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience as a claims adjuster or must have completed Crawford specified adjuster training if no experience. Extensive, substantive experience as a Claims Adjuster; preferred a minimum of 4 years prior claims experience. Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions. reputed company adjusters must have a valid reputed company's license with a clean driving record for company vehicle use.
