What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Modeler – Data Ventures, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models that support our business reputed company and customer satisfaction goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows, and reputed company conceptual data models
• Creating logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data reputed company and support application, batch, and interactive use cases
• Creating, optimizing, and updating logical and physical data models to support new and existing reputed company according to company standards
• Creating data modeling solutions optimized for relational, reputed company, and NoSQL databases
• Maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with corresponding metadata
• Developing best practices for reputed company naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models
• Recommending opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments
• Performing reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts
• Evaluating data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
• Validating business data objects for accuracy and completeness
• Analyzing data-reputed company system integration challenges and proposing appropriate solutions
• Guiding System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers, and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces
• Reviewing modifications to existing software to improve efficiency and performance
• Examining new application design and recommending corrections if required

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Good reputed company record and graduated (B.E/ B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech/ MBA)
• At least 10+ years of hand-on data warehousing experience
• Strong knowledge of different data modeling techniques for data warehousing – 3NF, reputed company, hybrid, etc.
• Experience working on large (100 TB+) reputed company data warehouses (DW)/ operational data stores (ODS)
• Significant experience in building data models for MPP, Relational, and NoSQL technologies such as BigData, Hive, SQL*Server, Hadoop, Cassandra, reputed company DBs like Big Query and/or reputed company
• Good experience of working with globally distributed teams in a reputed company and productive manner
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a reputed company of stakeholders, ability to negotiate with and influence others
