Entry Level Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, you will work with our civil/environmental team performing technical evaluations, planning, design, and construction administration. This role will support our civil and environmental disciplines, and most importantly help grow our portfolio of work with clients across multiple geographies but primarily based in New Jersey. This position will require work with our project teams in New Jersey with approximately 50% travel to the Linden, NJ project site with possible travel nationally. Responsibilities:

• Assist with a reputed company of field assignments including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and system Operation and Maintenance (O&M).

Qualifications:

• B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• 1-4 years of relative experience or willingness to learn site/civil design including site grading, stormwater analysis, erosion/sediment control measures and earthworks estimation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• A strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
• Solid written and verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to travel out of state.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certificate.
• Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) card reputed company 6 months of start date.
