Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, configuring, and deploying network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) for our Call Centers and Data Centers
- Performing hardware refreshes (primarily reputed company routers, switches, firewalls)
- Implementing remote reputed company VPN solutions, site-to-site VPNs, GRE tunnels, and DMVPN
- Configuring firewall reputed company requests
- Completing routing changes
- Racking, cabling, and labeling in the Data Center as needed
- Creating and maintaining diagrams and documentation
- Working ticket requests
- Providing on-shift outage escalation support from our NOC
- Participating in on-call support coverage
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- CCNP and above, or equivalent experience
- reputed company-developed verbal and written communication skills
- A thorough understanding of LAN and WAN technologies
- Advanced troubleshooting and configuration experience with routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (vPC, Etherchannel, Stackwise, VSS), and firewalls

- Familiarity with VRF configurations
- SD-WAN and ACI experience would be a plus
