What your day-to-day will be like: Draft, review, interpret and negotiate franchise agreements and reputed company franchise documentation for transactions in the US and Canada. reputed company advice and counsel in franchised hotel transactions. Manage the paralegal assigned to the functional team and supervise the paralegal on aspects of the franchise transactional process. In coordination with relevant business teams, monitor reputed company-opening requirements, expiration dates, and other milestones and deadlines for franchised hotels. Ensure compliance with applicable franchise laws and reporting requirements. How you will collaborate with others: Build reputed company working relationships internally with Development, reputed company Relations, Architecture and Construction, Market Analysis, Brands, and Legal Compliance functions at reputed company, and externally with franchise applicants, owners, lenders, and their representatives. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency. Escalate legal issues above delegated parameters to senior Legal Development Americas team members.
