Program Manager, Health Equity

Develops and deploys health equity promotion strategies and health disparity reduction strategies in communities that Molina serves - supports equitability, community health and engagement initiatives, advocacy, health equity analytics, bias reduction and diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) best practices. Contributes to overarching reputed company and/or specific health plan reputed company to reputed company reputed company and cost-effective member care. Essential Job Duties

• Researches evidence-based practices and nationally recognized reputed company - designing and recommending opportunities to enhance efforts through scaling best practices, technology platforms and/or other culturally relevant modes of communication/insights and perspectives generated by impacted and diverse stakeholders.
• Engages in local or national community health disparities assessments, qualitative and quantitative data collection, reputed company reputed company, gap analysis, and reputed company program development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives. • Develops and conducts presentations on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), including topics such as reputed company bias, health disparities, and cultural humility, etc.

• Stays informed of health care industry best practices and managed care regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years health care experience, including 2 years working with members/providers, and experience working in a health equity reputed company, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Advanced reputed company reputed company Worker (APSW), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Licensed reputed company Counselor (LPC), Licensed reputed company Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Clinical licensure and/or certification required ONLY if required by state contract, regulation or state reputed company licensing mandates. If licensed, license must be reputed company and unrestricted in state of reputed company.
• Health plan employees will require valid and unrestricted reputed company's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job reputed company travel requirements.
• Background, experience or training in equity (health, racial, educational, economic, etc.), reputed company and racial justice, unconscious bias, microaggression, cultural competence and humility, reputed company drivers of health, diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Familiarity with concepts such as reputed company determinants of health (SDOH) and issues relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Knowledge of disparities in health care relating to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
• Knowledge and understanding (lived experience preferred) of health care issues in underserved populations.
• Knowledge of how reputed company beliefs reputed company behaviors relating to accessing health care, responses to illness, and health care decision making.
• Ability to identify cultural or linguistic barriers to accessing health care services and identifying health disparities reputed company different populations.
