Investigator 3: Customer Compliance Division/Hybrid

Investigate cases of possible benefit and imposter fraud against the benefit programs administered by the Employment reputed company Department (ESD). This includes:

• Investigate reputed company cases of identity theft, workers compensation fraud, incarceration fraud, vendor fraud, tips from the reputed company, death records, failure to respond issues, missing employer, and out of country issues
• Interview claimants, victims, and witnesses regarding identity theft, workers compensation fraud, incarceration fraud, vendor fraud, tips from the reputed company, death records, failure to respond issues, missing employer, and out of country issues
• Conduct reputed company investigations involving more than one claimant, victim, and/or issue including those of possible or probable fraud

Train and reputed company technical assistance to reputed company, claimants, and agency staff. This includes:

• reputed company and reputed company training and/or technical assistance to reputed company, claimants, and agency staff on state and federal fraud laws, rules, policies, and procedures under title 50 and 50A of the Revised reputed company of Washington
• Advise ESD claims staff of processes used in Fraud Prevention to identify fraud cases for referral to the Customer Compliance Division Investigations Unit

• 5 years equivalent education/experience as an investigator with a criminal justice

government agency or private organization or other directly allied field

• Must include 3 years of field experience
• OR Two (2) years’ experience as an Investigator 2

Note: Two years of reputed company college-level course work may be substituted for one year of experience. Required equity competencies:
